Apple Cider Sangria

During the fall season in Houston, evenings aren’t always cool. So to beat the heat, we found a delicious cocktail to keep us satisfied. The fall spices and sweet fruit pair perfectly with holiday parties. Enjoy!

INGREDIENTS

6 gala apples

3 pears

750 ml cinnamon whiskey (we like to use Fireball)

1 bottle of cheap pinot grigio

64 oz of apple cider

1 liter of club soda

cinnamon sticks for garnish

DIRECTIONS

Chop apples and pears into bite size cubes.

In a pitcher, pour whiskey over the fruit. Cover and soak for 2 hours.

Stir in wine, cider and soda.

Pour over ice.

Serve with a spoonful of fruit and garnish with a cinnamon stick.
