Spectra Energy, one of North America’s leading pipeline and midstream companies, wanted their message for the 2015 annual report to be a bit more personal than previous years. The leadership is very passionate about the role natural gas has in this country’s ongoing energy discussion and we had to make sure that this message would connect with the audience.
The 2015 Spectra Energy Annual Report reflects its bold spirit in its message and visuals. The visuals show how integrated and important the human element is in Spectra Energy achieving their goals. The theme of “Pro Active” is carried throughout the report in showcasing their Expansion, Environment and Community accomplishments and results.
Along with the printed annual report, we developed the online component. We wanted the site to carry the same visual theme but also add a few “online-only” touches, such as a video message from the CEO and animated financial charts. Along with other best practices for online usability, we made the site responsive for mobile use.
