Herring collaborated with Baker Hughes, a GE Company (BHGE) on their first annual report since acquisition by General Electric. We collaborated with their internal team to develop the messaging and design to reflect their new, dynamic branding.

Design and Content Strategy

BHGE was looking to Herring to help them create a report that was clean and easy to read. We would need to be able to distill large amounts of data and simplify it into infographics that a casual reader could understand and a more discerning shareholder would find beneficial, enlightening, and engaging.

The primary focus of the book would be the new integrated culture within BHGE and the innovative technology that emerged from it. The headline, “Inventing Smarter Ways,” pulled directly from their purpose statement and allowed us to focus on two primary subjects — their employees and technology.
